Wilder hangs its hat on honest and gritty songs about the common man, relying on three part harmonies, crunchy guitars and a great back beat.
It’s been said that “Americana” is just “country music that’s actually good.” Without wading into that never-ending argument, I would argue most bands fitting that description would seem underserved by it -- in short, it never tells the full story. Greater Cincinnati’s own Wilder, with the release of their new full-length album Pick Your Poison, seem intent on telling the story completely, and completely on their own terms.
"I love people. I have never met a stranger. I appreciate learning about people, helping people when I can and belonging to a community. I enjoy making people laugh, especially catching them off guard with a laugh, having a candid moment. I think that's why the photography plays a big part of who I am."
