Six-Day Celebration Along Covington Riverfront to Feature Live Music on Two Stages!
COV200 is preparing turn up the volume during the upcoming BB&T Summer Celebration, thanks to the almost 30 bands performing for free on the celebration's two stages, July 9-14, along the banks of the Ohio River in Covington. Planned by COV200, the BB&T Summer Celebration is a joint celebration of Covington’s 200th birthday and the all-star baseball game across the river. One of the highlights of the events will be the musical entertainment happening in and around Covington Landing. Visitors to the BB&T Summer Celebration will enjoy:
The Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell Stage
Over 20 live music acts will perform throughout the BB&T Summer Celebration. Bands include The Turkeys, School of Rock Mason, Rusty Griswolds, Ricky Nye, Leroy Ellington Band and The Dan Varner Band.
Braxton Brewing Acoustic Stage on RiverCentre Plaza
Some of the area’s best musicians will be featured Friday through Tuesday night on the Braxton Brewing Acoustic stage, thanks to the folks with the Good People Festival who are overseeing the stage. Bands performing include Wilder, Willow Tree Carolers and My Brother’s Keeper.
