Futurebirds Landing at The Southgate House Revival Tonight

Athens, Georgia band Futurebirds have just announced their new album Hotel Parties, a follow up to 2013's Baba Yaga. The record hit stores on September 25th and is the first release on the Easy Sound Recording Company label.

Stereogum previously premiered "twentyseven," the first track from the forthcoming album, saying the song is, "a gleaming, Southern-fried late-twenties-crisis type of song… perfect for a drive through rural nowhere with your arm swaying out the window." The Wall Street Journal went on to debut the video for single "Deadbeat Hits," noting, "With a descending figure on steel guitar and King’s hazy vocals, the twangy tune has a genial summertime feel as it scrolls by, accompanied by scenes of the musicians playing in the studio and clowning around outside."

Catch Futurebirds at The Southgate House Revival tonight in The Sanctuary with Wilder and Harpooner! Doors at 7:30p / Show ay 8p.
