On the first day of December, Triiibe and Automagik met in a studio for an unplanned, unrehearsed jam session.

While Automagik continues to plan and work on new upcoming projects, the acoustic guitars rarely leave their hands. Automagik is a funky and soulful rock band first and foremost, but this recording is a glimpse into the acoustic and softer side of the band.

2018 has been an interesting year. It’s one that shall henceforth be referred to as the, “Year of the Seriously WTF?” because every week brought us something we never thought would or could happen. Thank goodness for the sweet escape of great music, right? Here’s what got me through this bizarro year:

Last night at the Woodward Theater, Automagik proved once again that they can put on one of the best shows in the city. 

Some bands can release the same album over and over again, feeling satisfied with their effort and the elation of their fans. Others must continue to grow and change, stepping into new sonic territory, while hoping to keep a foot firmly planted in their identity.

Automagik just dropped a new music video for “Stop Drop Dance!” This is off of their new album, Goldmine which will be released at The Woodward Theater with Triiibe on Friday, December 21st!
