The Cincinnati Recreation Commission (CRC) announces the return of OTR Skate, an adult roller skating party benefiting CRC’s Over the Rhine Recreation Center. This spring’s OTR Skate is on Friday, April 27, 8-11 p.m.
The event will feature performances by local bands, You, You’re Awesome and Automagik. Also in attendance will be the Cincinnati Roller Girls! There will be tons of other games to play such as, Wii, foosball, air hockey, pool and bumper pool, all courtesy of the OTR Recreation Center.
Alongside skating and games, there will also be a raffle for goodies etc... from OTR merchants, including Pho Lang Thang, Atomic Number Ten, Daisy Mae’s Produce, Iris Book Cafe, Smartfish Supply and more. All raffle proceeds will benefit the OTR Recreation Center.
This event is $5, this includes your skate rental. Feel free to bring your own skates as well, as the rental skates are first come, first serve. This event is 18+.
April’s OTR Skate is sponsored by The Counter Rhythm Group, Cincy Blues Society, and the Cincinnati Roller Girls.
The OTR Recreation Center serves downtown Cincinnati in the Over the Rhine, Pendleton, Mohawk and West End neighborhoods. The Recreation Center offers after-school homework help, seasonal programs for youth/teens, field trips and enrichment programs. Facilities include an indoor roller rink, gymnasium, weight room, kitchen, game room, teen lounge, study room, and art room.
Remember to stretch beforehand and come join us for an amazing time! Hang out with some of your favorite bands, bring lots of cash for charity and be prepared for a night you will not soon forget.

- Raffle tickets cost $1 for 1 ticket; $5 for 7; $10 for 15. All proceeds from the raffle will go toward the OTR Rec Center.
- Raffle tickets can be purchased at the door during the OTR Skate. Tickets will be sold until 10:30 pm. You do not need to be present to win.
- Two drawings will be held - the first group of prizes will be raffled off after Automagik's set around 9:45pm and the grand prize drawings will be raffled off after You, You're Awesome's set around 10:45pm.
