Surfer Blood are playing Midpoint Indie Summer at Fountain Square on Friday May 29^th with The Yugos, Automagik and Harbour!

7/79 and CincyMusic.com caught up with the band on the eve of the release of their latest album, 1000 Palms. They told us a little backstory on the band and what to expect with the new album.

Courtney Phenicie is the Editor-in-Chief of CincyMusic, Director of Content Strategy at Patchboard, and a graduate of Northern Kentucky University. She enjoys live music with strangers, singing in the car, and supporting local music.
