Head into the city this weekend to experience MidPoint Music Festival: Cincinnati's three-day indie festival. MPMF greets us this Thu-Fri-Sat for the 13th time in Over-the-Rhine and Downtown Cincinnati.

This is one of the most exciting events in the city for indie rock fans (and us). MPMF has a tendency to expose us to artists that are just about to get major nationwide publicity. And this year, MidPoint is reeling us in with three great headliners: Chromeo, The Afghan Whigs, and OK Go (yes, they're back).

You can grab a three-day pass for just $79 via CincyTicket.

We've put together a full festival schedule that you can use to plan your next stop before and during the festival. We've also got you covered with a whole bunch of interviews and previews that we have been posting over the past few months. See you there!

MPMF Preview: The Afghan Whigs

The Afghan Whigs (Washington Park Mainstage, Friday, September 26, 8:30) I have seen a lot of music in this town; never have I been present for anything like The Afghan Whigs' return to Bogarts in October of 2012. Even before Wussy's (typically expert) warmup set, there was a palpable electricity...

Arum Rae should be on your must see list for Midpoint Music Festival. Arum is touring in support of her entrancing Warranted Queen EP, that was released in April.
