The Electric Indigo Band set out to tantalize the Cincinnati/NKY music scene in 2018 when lifelong neighbors, emerging guitar virtuoso Matt Goetz and rhythm guitarist Alex Whitehead, joined forces with drummer Matt Cinquini, and guitar shredder turned bass player Tej Arole. Arole's high school band mate, Alex Angel, was the final piece of the puzzle on keyboards and Hammond Organ.

Drawing on a range of influences from Pink Floyd, The Allman Brothers Band, and Marcus King Band, to Herbie Hancock and Rush, the Indigo have developed a powerful, spacy groove mixed with profound storytelling and imagery.

The Electric Indigo Band released their self-titled first album in 2020. Since then, they have released two live concerts with Cincinnati Independent Music Label, Radio Artifact.
