Herzog Music
For Herzog’s first Record Store Day they will be having a party to celebrate the LP release of DJDQ's "Where the Sidewalk Begins" on 180-gram vinyl, on a new Herzog Music imprint.

What is "Where the Sidewalk Begins?"
One mixer, one turntable, one multi-track recorder. 37 days and nights in 2002. Emerging from the dust of Scribble Jam, the nation’s premier hip hop festival in Cincinnati, Ohio, came Where the Sidewalk Begins. Weaving seamlessly through blues, Indian, rock, opera, spaghetti Westerns, symphony, and whatever the dollar bin left behind, across eras of music that have never been involved so intimately, came a 28-minute hip hopera, yet genre-eluding “masterpiece”. Hailed by artists and fans alike as near-cult status, it speaks to an era of musical and harmonious turntablism that has yet to replicate itself. A moment in time that was lost, as a result of a very limited release homemade, albeit ambitious CD-R, vanishing as fiercely as it emerged. Until now. For the first time ever, on a just as limited 180-gram vinyl re-release.

Jet Age Records
