Kuber is a mixture of pop, electronic, color-blended-future-wave, all designed with pleasure in mind. Their songs are both happy and serious, all mixed in with a little bit of innocence, awareness, and familiarity that is uniquely their own. Hardly an act to be taken lightly, experiencing Kuber is like hearing an old 80s VHS video being processed with modernized intentions, showing that time itself is irrelevant to the present, and that music is done best when it is made to be timeless,
Kuber is a mixture of pop, electronic, color-blended-future-wave, all designed with pleasure in mind. Their songs are both happy and serious, all mixed in with a little bit of innocence, awareness, and familiarity that is uniquely their own. Hardly an act to be taken lightly, experiencing Kuber is like hearing an old 80s VHS video being processed with modernized intentions, showing that time itself is irrelevant to the present, and that music is done best when it is made to be timeless, infinite, and imaginative.
Formed after their lead singer, John S. Williams, spent years amassing self-made demos in his bedroom, Kuber is looking to bring to life something that was once only a dream to be had. This dream-like feeling comes through very clearly in their music, which is also both fun, upbeat, and danceable. With inspirations like The Beach Boys, Brian Eno, David Bowie, Prince, and also more recent bands like Hot Chip, Neon Indian, and Ariel Pink, it's easy to see why Kuber is capable of making the type of quality music that they do.
