For the past year, Ringo Jones has been researching the intersection of streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube and their effect on local music scenes. His research examines how streaming services can improve the local landscape.

Ringo is an active member of the Cincinnati music community as a musician, producer, and fan. 

The event will include a very brief presentation on the Herzog studio's history, including sessions by Hank Williams, early King records artists, as the site of Cincinnati's first R&B session, and as a rehearsal space for Patti Smith, Sufjan Stevens and more.
