2017 has been a great year for AFI (or A Fire Inside for the cool kids). The veteran punk group released their 10th studio album in January, the self-titled, “AFI” (The Blood Album) and are looking forward to getting back on the road. Lucky enough for us, Bunbury is one of the stops included.
AFI have been around for over 25 years, forming in 1991. Throughout their career, they have received praise and credit for influencing many of today’s heavy hitters in the emo/scremo and horror punk scenes. Which makes perfect sense as AFI were influenced by the likes of The Misfits, Bauhaus and Alien Sex Fiend.
AFI will be one of the bands to put on your “Can’t Miss” list this Bunbury and will put on one hell of a show for fans young and old.
