When the leaves start to fall from the trees, my music playlists switch from upbeat to more mellow. While jam bands, EDM, hip-hop, and faster feminist rock rule my summer months, folk, alt-country, and singer-songwriter music creeps its way back into the prominent position on my playlists.

TALK is a self-described soul-filled psychedelic rock band. This local band may be new to the scene, but can take you back to a happier time. They just released their debut self-titled album in April. You can catch them at BLINK on Saturday on the Findlay Market Stage at 8p.

School of Rock Mason to Perform Hurricane Benefit Concert

It has been a devastating hurricane season, so the students at School of Rock Mason are banding together to help those in need. They will perform a benefit concert on Sunday, October 29th at the 20th Century Theater in Oakley Square. All ticket proceeds will be donated to Matthew 25 Ministries to be used in that charity’s hurricane relief efforts.

Cincinnati’s BLINK Announces Entertainment Lineup

Nearly 30 artists will take to BLINK stages, October 12-15, providing live entertainment for the 20-block lights and art event. BLINK, set to run from Cincinnati’s Banks to Findlay Market, will feature nearly 70 interactive art sculptures, projection mappings, murals and other light-based displays. Through an immersive and magical experience, BLINK will define Cincinnati an innovative, inclusive and creative future city.
