Get to the Gig! Smoking Popes, Rodeo Boys, and Maura Weaver at Northside Tavern!

Northside Tavern’s been on a bit of a tear these last couple months, and the recently announced - and already close to selling out - Smoking Popes headliner is absolutely no exception.

Coming up on Friday, March 22, The Smoking Popes will be joined by alt-punk-rock outfit Rodeo Boys, who’s last album, “Home Movies,” and two performances on tour with The Menzingers were among my favorites of 2023. Really bringing the show “home,” as well, Maura Weaver will take the stage as part of the ongoing celebration of her debut full-length, “I Was Due For A Heartbreak.” We talked to Maura before the album released, which you can check out here. I’m already smiling about how much fun this is going to be, y’all.

The Smoking Popes will bring their darkly melodic pop punk to Northside Tavern near the end of an almost 2-week long run, and, I have to imagine, going out on a high note before heading back to Chicago for a sold-out tour closer.

So grab tickets while you still can - I promise this one’s going to sell out, and you’re going to be super bummed you missed it. Click on the show poster below to join us for what I’m sure will be a total ripper. See you there.
