Kicking March off in grand fashion, Madison Live will play host to An Evening With SofaBurn, a showcase of SofaBurn Records acts from across the country. Featuring Cincinnati’s own Lung, Mosant, and Mike Montgomery (R.Ring, Ampline), along with Louisville’s Shadwick Wilde with the Quiet Hollers and Baltimore’s Super City, the evening is a highlight reel of the amazing artists that call, or have called, SofaBurn Records “home.”
Time to Celebrate!
March 2 also acts as a celebration of sorts for Mosant, whose first single, “Can’t You Tell,” off their upcoming new album, due out via SofaBurn, will be released the day before. Big Twin Peaks and Band of Horse vibes, it feels distinctly Cincinnati while evoking Americana tinged indie rock from across the country. We’ll have more to say about the album a little closer to the release date, so stay tuned.

Things kick off at 7:00pm (doors are at 6, though, so get there early and, you know, hang out and enjoy the party), and you can get tickets here. They’ll run you a $20 presale, and $25 the day of. A steal no matter what you ultimately decide to do.
