Check Out "Come Closer" - New Single from Spoils

Cincy indie rock outfit Spoils is back with a brand new EP on the way, so we’re happy to share their new single, “Come Closer,” with you all today!

Reminiscent (to me) of Chicago’s Moontype, with a healthy dose of 90’s underground icons Unrest and that dog, Spoils leans on catchy, layered riffs, powerful vocals, and propulsive energy to create something entirely their own. While they may fall into the “slowcore” realm of indie, this one’s a ripper.

The band’s new EP, Nothing For A Man, will release on August 18 via Happy / Families, a newly formed label under the Torn Light umbrella.

Check out “Come Closer” here, and look for our full EP review and pre-order info for the cassette/digital release soon!
