Following their incredibly successful first event last year, Punks Care 2 is back at it again to help fight hunger and food insecurity in the greater Cincinnati area. 2022’s event raised enough to provide over 3,600 meals, with all funds raised going directly to the Freestore Foodbank, an incredible resource for those in need.
This year, Punks Care 2 - a community of like-minded individuals with a mission to combat hunger in the community - is bringing together a truly wild lineup of bands from across the punk rock spectrum to take over two stages at The Southgate House Revival. Catch Hamilton, Ohio’s finest (or worst, depending on who you ask) The Muckers, playing together again after a 20+ year hiatus, local faves Dead Man String Band, upstarts Tiger Sex, and many, many others.
Even better, this is an ALL AGES show - building community starts young, so bring the whole fam. With 13 bands total, plus a Kids DIY Space and Kids Punk Rock Open Mic, it’s going to be an absolutely rowdy, raucous, beautifully positive night at SGHR.
Everything gets started at 5:00pm this Saturday, May 27 - grab tickets now for $15, or pay $20 at the door. Remember, funds raised are going to the Freestore Foodbank to help those most in need. Check out the show flyer below for all the bands, grab your dancing shoes, and have some fun while fighting food insecurity in YOUR city.
