Metal & Punk Return to Southgate House Revival

Yes. You read that headline correctly.

2020 has not been a kind year for concerts. After seeing so many shows get canceled, many of us had given up hope seeing any sort of live performance this summer. While the large summer festivals will not take place this year, there is still a glimmer of hope.

Now more than ever it is important that we support our local venues and local bands as they are taking a beating from this pandemic. One of Cincy’s best and most beloved venues, The Southgate House Revival is ready to open its doors to hungry concert goers who have gone far too long without seeing a large show.

Transplant Productions is bringing the Metal back to the Southgate House on Saturday July 11th. In order to maintain safe social distancing, only 50 tickets will be sold so you need to act fast. This show will sell out.

Unfortunately, the pandemic is still very real and it is important we ourselves and others are safe. The good folks at the SGHR want to make sure we all have a healthy and good time. Temperatures will be taken at the door. All staff will be wearing masks. You should too. Hell. All your heroes do; like the guys from GWAR, Ghost and Slipknot. Masks are pretty Metal.

The doors open at 7:30 pm. Music starts at 8:00 pm. Tickets are only $10. Help reduce hand to hand interaction and pre order your tickets.

Performing bands are:

REIGN OVER ME (prog metal)

TRASH KNIGHT (punk/thrash)

THE HUMAN TRAGEDY (symphonic metal)

MCRNR (molotov cocktail rock ‘n roll)
