Metallica at U.S. Bank Arena

2019 is going to be a great year for Metalheads in Cincinnati. Ozzy Osbourne, Kiss, and Iron Maiden have already announced tours that will each make a stop in the Queen City. To start the year off, Heavy Metal heavy weights, Metallica are playing U.S. Bank Arena on Wednesday, January 30th.

Fans can expect a very loud and very LONG setlist from this Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame band that will continue to be one of the most exciting and energetic live performances around. Not only in Hard Rock but in musically live performances. Metallica’s live shows have been become legendary in nature and if you haven’t caught a show yet, make sure you change that later this month.  Continuing their “WorldWired Tour,” in support of their most recent release, 2016’s “Hardwired...to Self-Destruct, the fearsome foursome have been performing for close to 2 and a half hours on each night of the tour. A herculean task for any band, let alone a 30+ year old thrash band.

From their debut, Kill ‘em All to their multi-platinum Black album, the band always ads something into the setlist for everyone and even sneaks in a few covers from bands such as The Misfits and Thin Lizzy. Metallica has remained relevant for so long for a reason, they give the fans what they want.

I don’t know about you, but my New Year’s Resolution is to see more live shows and I can’t think of a better band to start off this (easily achieved) goal.
