Eastern Kentucky’s Red Headed Stranger, Tyler Childers will be back in Northern Kentucky at the Madison Theater for three nights. A stretch that will last almost a week with dates beginning Monday March 25th, Wednesday the 27th, and Thursday the 28th.
This morning at 10 a.m. general tickets went on sale and sold out in about 45 minutes. Childers has sky rocketed to critical and commercial success, through his own independent label. Childers 2016 album Purgatory has received rave reviews from Rolling Stone and Vice’s Noisey.
Childers is part of this growing revival in outlaw country with artists like Sturgill Simpson, Colter Wall, and singer songwriters like Margo Price. Childers songwriting ability has gained him attention for shedding light on life in Appalachia and the struggles and pride that come along with that.
Childers recently added more dates on his nationwide tour including dates in Bloomington, IN and two nights in Charleston, SC.
