Sylmar is a band that should be on the top of your radar. A melting pot of stylistic nuance, honest ignorance and a wee bit of theoretical background, creates the dreamy grit pop stoner jazz that encapsulates the Sylmar sound. This Saturday they are releasing not one, but TWO singles AND celebrating the tunes with a night of live slyme at Top Cats in Clifton.
This Saturday, the singles will be available at 10a on Spotify. Just in time to learn the words for their B-Side Release show at Top Cats that night with In the Pines, and Spooky Dreamland!
After nearly selling out The Woodward Theater in May, Sylmar has been hammering away at regional shows and are shifting their focus to writing and recording for a number of upcoming projects. These include an EP in early April and their sophomore album, set to be released late summer or early 2020.
