Albert Hammond Jr. will be at the 20th Century Theatre Monday night, December 3rd in support of his recent solo album Francis Trouble.
The Strokes guitar player released his fourth studio album this past March and has been doing a lengthy tour of playing surprisingly smaller venues. Which could mean for a much more fun and intimate show with a musician who has reached the heights of indie rock.
Hammond’s album and tour followed the releasing of Lizzy Goodman’s very successful behind the scenes, interview based book “Meet Me in the Bathroom,” titled after the Strokes songs. In preparation for the show Monday you can learn a little more about Hammond Jr. and what his days of playing in the Strokes were like by picking up a copy.
Francis Troublehas received critical acclaim as one of Hammond’s strongest sounding albums to date. Don’t miss the chance to see Albert Hammond Jr. at the 20thCentury Theatre next week.
