Friday Giants Release What May Come

Friday Giants released a video yesterday for “What May Come” from their album Twenty Nothings. Both the song and video tackle bullying, harassment, and how to overcome it. All sales from ‘What May Come’ on Bandcamp will be donated to A Voice For The Innocent and the Women's Crisis Center.

“Don’t have fear for what may come today, someday everyone will know my name”
“That was the first line I had to write to this song. The song was written from my 7th grade perspective of being bullied. From perspective of the counselor, she called it mild sexual harassment.

I always dreamt about being the current age that I am. I knew that the 23 to 25-year-old version of me would be able to stand up for himself and be able to make a difference for anyone who was being bullied. I never thought that I would get a chance to to do it. That’s what I am trying to do with this song and that’s what Friday Giants hopes to show in the music video.

“What May Come” is about being bullied and harassed and what to do about. I taught myself how to think going forward repeating phrases like “I do exist”, and “things will get better”, and “someday everyone will know my name”. I hope someday everyone will know the names of those who are harassed.” – Gavin, the lead singer of Friday Giants
