The Yugos Headline Woodward Theater

The Yugos perform the entirety of their second album, Life Is Awesome And Then You Live Forever, at Woodward Theater on July 16, 2016

In anticipation for their early 2017 release of their third full-length album, Weighing The Heart, the local indie-rockers are revisiting their second album to play the songs that haven’t been heard live in years.

“I’m excited to go back and play all of these old songs especially because the supporting acts are members of bands I used to open for.” says front-man Christian Gough of The Yugos

The night begins at 9 PM with Kid Condor self-described as “a group of conservatory-trained musicians playing music inspired by early 70s Rock n’ Roll, 60s Motown, and 90s indie rock.” Those familiar with music local to Cincinnati may recognize front-man Phillip Alexander from Plastic Inevitables

The band will be direct supported by local act Joseph, described by Dayton City Paper as, “- a trio that plays a soulful brand of pastoral psych-rock laced with elements of folk, country, and Krautrock.” Those familiar with music local to Cincinnati may recognize front-man Joey Cook from Healing Power formerly known as The Pomegranates

The event is open to an audience ages 18 and up. Buy tickets HERE for an advance price of $7 and $10 the day of the show.
