Method Man and Redman Bring Hip Hop History to Bogart's

Redman, a master emcee and lyricist and Method Man 1/9th of the Wu-Tang and Jonny Blaze of rap are coming to Cincinnati. If you believe hip hop is dead you have completely ignored what Method Man and Redman have teamed up to do over the last 2 decades. Not only has Method Man made a career with the Wu-Tang Clan but he and lifelong friend Redman have carved their own slice of hip hop history teaming up to bring one of the most memorable concerts you can see. The amount of energy from them is unmatched in hip hop these days. They feed of of each other on the Mic better than any other duo. Just when you think the show is over they analyze the energy of the crowd to determine if they should do a few more songs to ensure you leave the building blown away. If you gave them 110% they will in return give you that and more.

I remember seeing them together in March of 1999. When I left that show I remember clearly Method Man walking on the hands of fans while performing "M.E.T.H.O.D. Man" while watching Redman swinging from cables over the crowd. When I got home I couldn't post on Twitter or Facebook as they didn't exist, so I kept this memory to myself. I clearly remember telling all my friends that I seen the best concert of my life. My voice was horse from screaming and I must have thrown my hands up in the W to signify Wu-Tang 100 Times. When I think back of the energy of those two, I can't see how anyone else could match it. I have since seen them again and was just as satisfied.

When I heard they were coming to Bogart's I was ecstatic. If you have any memory of a Redman or Method Man/Wu-Tang song do yourself the favor and go see them. Prepare to sweat and and see two the livest MCees of our generation. They will start the show at a level no other group in hip hop can match and end it at a even higher level.
