Enter to win the chance to interview Steven over a band-paid-for dinner at a fast food restaurant! CincyMusic.com will even publish your interview on our site!

Who is Steven Walls?  Why does he give away all those hot dogs? Only you will be able to get the answers to these and many more questions.

For a little background...

W. Steven Walls (born February 22, 1983 as William Steven Walls), is an American jug player, singer, songwriter and activist.  With an entertainment career spanning from the 1980s, Walls’ roles have included Marty McFly from the Back to the Future trilogy (1985–1990); Alex P. Keaton from Family Ties for which he won three Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award; and Mike Flaherty from Spin City (1996–2000), for which he won an Emmy, three Golden Globes, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Walls was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 1995 and disclosed his condition to the public later that year. Walls semi-retired from performing in 1990 to pursue academics at Elmwood Place Elementary.  He has since become an activist for finding a way to create a cure for a bunch of stuff.  This led him to create The William S. Walls Foundation, and on June 9, 2010, Sweden’s Karolinska Institute gave him a honoris causa doctorate for his work in advocating a cure for Stendhal Syndrome.

Since 2001 Walls has mainly worked as a singer and performance artist in Vampire Weekend at Bernie's and his side project, The Moody Blue's Clues. His art has been compared to the likes GG Allin, Andy Kaufman, and Jennifer Lopez.

Today, W. Steven Walls acts as a jug player and fun enthusiast with The Fabulous Byurd Brains, featuring the heralded Billy Catfish as well as Travis, Michael and Matt from Frontier Folk Nebraska.  Naturally they are joined by drummer Andrew Aragon, a veteran of the local scene, and keyboard player Pete Nienaber, who is Walls' step-uncle.

During Fabulous Byurd Brains shows, he has broken bottles over his head, navigated a venue while lying on his back in a chair, and passed out hot dogs on a long rod.  With his animated, creative embouchure and propensity to get weird and wild, you never know what could happen at a Fabulous Byurd Brains show--or an interview at a fast food restaurant for that matter.

Catch The Fabulous Byurd Brains Friday November 7th at Northside Tavern!
