I was pretty excited to check out Chelsea Ford & The Trouble’s new LP, Townsend Road. I’ve heard Chelsea’s songs before and I have heard this band, so I knew they were going to put out something powerful.

CincyMusic LIVE has teamed up with CincyGroove and Cinci Folk Alliance to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with a Live Stream with some of our favorite bands and artists.

From a living room couch amidst a pandemic six songs filled my ear canals and traveled through my bones and soul and left me wanting more. J. Warrick Ford is one half of Warrick and Lowell and is also a third of Chelsea Ford & the Trouble. Through a year of isolation, sheltering in place, and quarantining, he recorded this album.

CincyMusic, Cincy Groove, and The Women’s Groovement have teamed up for two nights of Live Streaming music from 24 amazing bands and artists to benefit The Southgate House Revival on Friday June 19th and Saturday June 20th!

Hagfest will be taking over The Southgate House Revival this Saturday. Much more than a tribute show, Hagfest celebrates the music and lasting legacy of the great Merle Haggard, his contemporaries, and his own heroes whom he was readily known to pay tribute to himself.

The following is a list of musicians that for me did something really great this year. Listening to their albums or seeing them in person however the situation landed itself something about them moved me.
