Aaron Benjamin Music

Fired in the furnace of the Motor City and steeped in the Big Easy heat, Aaron Benjamin channels a sound calling on classic vinyl’s golden age. Powered by overdriven guitar riffs, tinged with the intricacies of acoustic singer-songwriter, and fueled by the raw force of New Orleans brass, Aaron Benjamin is a new voice in Rock n Roll.

A Detroit native, Aaron was raised on the Motown and Rock records that define the Detroit Sound. As a teenager, he honed his songsmith craft, combining these influences with the more subdued, intimate elements of acoustic folk. At 18, he left for New Orleans, eager to build a band that could bring his sonic vision to life.

Now 22, Aaron has become one of New Orleans’ most promising young artists. Backed by a seven-piece band, he has performed on renowned stages throughout New Orleans, the United States, and Europe. His debut self-titled album “Aaron Benjamin" (available on all major platforms) was released to a sold-out crowd at New Orleans’ indie hub, Gasa-Gasa, this past September. The record is at once a testament to his upbringing and a roadmap for his future in rock n roll.
