Jordan Pollard Trio

Jordan Pollard is a jazz pianist originally from Minnesota, where she started gigging at age 15. From 2006-2012 she gigged and taught in San Antonio TX, including an original works group called the San Antonio Jazz Workshop. She’s been local to Cincinnati since 2012 where she freelances - some of her reoccurring venues include Dee Felice Cafe, Blue Note Bistro, Greenwich, Schwartz’s Point Jazz & Acoustic Club, and she can be seen weekly on Sundays with Ron Enyard at Lydia’s on Ludlow and on Mondays at the Stanley’s Pub Jazz Jam.

Jordan earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from the University of MN-Duluth and a Masters of Music in Jazz Studies from UC's College-Conservatory of Music. During her studies, Jordan was fortunate to have numerous opportunities to travel, perform with top-tier professionals, and even take occasional lessons from pianists Billy Taylor, Kenny Werner, and George Cables. She’s been composing since 2002 and thoroughly enjoys exploring her and others' compositions in this trio setting - she, Ben Bratton, and Matt McCoy have been playing at least weekly for past three years as they share hosting duties Monday nights

Joining Jordan will be Matt McCoy on bass and Ben Bratton on drums.
