Hailing from New Jersey, Brian Sella and Mat Uychich have made an undeniable mark on the folk-punk genre with The Front Bottoms. 2023 marked the ten-year Anniversary of their seminal coming-of-age 2013 LP, Talon of the Hawk, which lives in regular rotation for genre listeners among the band’s many other popular tracks a decade later. Since then, the band has consistently delivered anthem after anthem in their own unique rugged, electrifying style. Their 2020 full studio album, In Sickness & In Flames featured emotion-laden sonics and intense lyrical urgency as a product of the COVID-19 pandemic. Contrastingly, their latest album, You Are Who You Hang Out With, is The Front Bottoms individualized ode to complete and utter fun.
