No One Gets Out Alive is a master class in contemporary pop craftsmanship, hearkening back to early ‘70s Laurel Canyon, with Maggie’s big, soulful voice taking center stage. The songs deal with both dark and hopeful themes– disillusionment in relationships, ageism, female empowerment, and living in the moment, among them. Her songwriting collaborators include the heavyweight duo of Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony (Rihanna, Bruno Mars), Natalie Hemby (The Highwomen), Pat McLaughlin (John Prine), Henry Brill (Joy Oladokun) and more. GRAMMY-Award-winning producer Ben Tanner worked on the record with GRAMMY-nominated Bobby Holland (audio engineer).
