Dallas Moore's Honky Tonk Holidaze

Dallas Moore's annual Honky Tonk Holidaze is this Friday at The Southgate House Revival! We had the chance to chat with Moore prior to the big party!

What can we expect at Honky Tonk Holidaze at The Southgate House Revival?
It’s going to be a great night of outlaw country, hellraisin’ honky tonk and rock n roll with family and friends. My good brother Alex Williams will kick off the night with his full band and then I’ll take the stage to close it out with the Dallas Moore Band featuring Will Owen Gage (San Antonio, Texas) on guitar, Mike Bernal (Austin, Texas) on drums, Russell T. Griffith (Batesville, Indiana) on bass and Mike Owens (Louisville, Kentucky) on harmonica. We’ll be playing my latest album No God in Juarez (featuring the songs of Billie Gant) in its entirety as well as a lot of gems and jams, and of course my song "Honky Tonk Holidaze'" which I wrote with the great Ted Russell Kamp. This will be my last full band show of 2023 and we invite everyone out to celebrate with us!

The Southgate House Revival is a special place, what makes it so special to you?
The Southgate House Revival is our honky tonk home in Kentucky that just so happens to be one of the most iconic live music venues in America. Sister Morrella Raleigh and all of the staff at SGHR are truly family to us, and after touring all across the country playing over 300 shows again this year, there’s no place I’d rather be than HOME for the Honky Tonk Holidaze!

What is next for Dallas Moore in the new year?
2024 is already shaping up to be our biggest year yet! I’ll be releasing my first solo acoustic album titled Gems and Jams, and also working on 2 separate full band albums. I’ve also got a track on the forthcoming Taylor Shannon tribute album that I’m excited about! As far as touring, we are hitting the road harder than ever if that’s possible, Lol. We’re booked on several big festivals already with more to come and have a whole slew of both full band shows and solo dates at venues from NYC to L.A., Texas to Tennessee and all points in between. Lots of shows with heroes, champions and friends coming up in the new year. My wife Jenna Danielle Moore and daughter Victory Lee Moore will be joining me for many of them. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone out on the road in 2024!
