These three Gents add a Modern take to Traditional Bluegrass by excelling at Improvisational Jams which makes for Performances that delight fans of many genres. Each Band Member impresses by picking and singing a mix of Original Material, Traditional Bluegrass Classics, and a wide variety of covers that their Fans love to hear. Two other great local bands will be supporting the Bluegrass Trio. Yinyang Sunflower is a Fresh Rock Band from Cincy, full of young musicians who sound like they have been playing together for Decades. They Rock the House with a mix of Original Tunes and Classic and Modern Covers, which makes their shows seem like Concerts that music fans would have witnessed in the 60s and 70s. Yinyang Sunflower has been bringing the heat to many local venues and Festivals this year.
If you were lucky enough to catch Dayton’s Folk Rock Band Our Sacred Vanity at Fountain Square this Summer, then it is highly likely that you are a Big Fan of them. This group primarily plays Original Songs from an expansive catalog of material written by Band Frontman, Kevin Milner. These songs touch on a wide variety of topics which audiences find relatable and entertaining!
Cincinnati’s Groovy DJ Vinyl Veins will ensure that the Music will never Stop at The Rio Grande Jam! He’ll be spinning great records early and often throughout the Concert! Send him requests of your favorite songs, and perhaps you will hear them Saturday Night!
