Maker's Mark Presents: Thanksgiving Eve at Arnold's

On Thanksgiving Eve Arnold’s has teamed up with Maker's Mark and 12 local bands to offer the literally coolest giveaway Arnold’s has ever done. Plus they will have live Americana music from Mike Oberst of The Tillers and Bluegrass from Moonshine Drive. Couple all of that with Maker's Mark specials and Maker's infused specials put together from Chef Kayla Robison.

Arnold's has partnered up with Neltner Small Batch, Otto Printing and Mus-i-col Records to offer a hand made limited edition 12” vinyl Record featuring 12 songs from some of Cincinnati's best bands. The awesome part? It’s free! We are giving them all away. We have 150 total pressed on opaque red vinyl (just like the wax on a Maker's bottle) to hand out and they will be first come first serve.

Even the record sleeves are special. This isn't just your run of the mill print job. Each cover is a letterpressed work of art created at Otto Printing in Newport by legendary designer and muralist Keith Neltner.

Drink and Menu Specials run all day, live music from Mike Oberst followed by Moonshine Drive starts at 8. The Records will also be available at 8pm. *There is also an extremely limited number of copies pressed on clear vinyl with rainbow splatter (yes, they look awesome) that will be available at select local record stores on Black Friday. Each store will only have 12 copies of the splatter vinyl and 1 copy of the glow in the dark. The records will be available at Shake It Records, Everybody's Records, Plaid Room Records, Jet Age Records, Hail Records and Oddities, Morrow Records, Torn Light Records and more!

** Breakdown for the record geeks: There were 500 records pressed total. 150 on opaque red vinyl, 200 on clear vinyl with rainbow splatter and 20 on Glow in the dark vinyl. There were also 120 pressed on mint green vinyl that are only available to the bands that played on the record. 150 opaque red will be given away for free and will be available at Arnold's only. Up to 120 of the Splatter vinyl will be available at record stores with the rest will be given to people involved in making the records. There is also a glow in the dark version. Only 20 were made. Only 1 copy of the Glow in the dark will be available at each of the record stores.
