Born into a family of musicians, singers and songwriters, Charlie's unquenchable passion for great music and melodies seemed only natural. He grew up listening to Earth Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, and The Doobie Brothers among other greats, so it’s no surprise that by the age of 6 he was singing and performing with his siblings for family and friends. It wasn't until high school though that he really got the bug, and flourished. At 18 he picked up the guitar and hasn't looked back, playing solo gigs while working and attending school.

On Friday, October 1st John will be releasing "Dancing Through the Darkness!" The single will be out on all platforms through Symphonic Distribution.

This is what Charlie said about his writing of this upcoming song:
“I wrote this song in the midst of the pandemic when everything was shut down. This is a story about two people in love who are dancing through the darkness as in through the emotional darkness that we were all facing during COVID 19. It's a metaphor for being able to smile and be happy through the darkness and be ok the times you aren't happy because you don't need to be all the time. While all this is happening, you're with the one person who can help you through these times.”
