Brian Powers from the Popular Library will be chatting with musicians and historians Fred Bartenstein and Joe Mullins about Southwestern Ohio's largely unsung role in shaping the sound of what the world recognizes as bluegrass music. Their work on this topic resulted in a book and album of the same name: "Industrial Strength Bluegrass: Southwestern Ohio's Musical Legacy."During the event, you'll hear a ton of great music samples pertaining to the discussion, including music from legends Bobby Osborne and Vince Gill!
