Everybody’s Hip-Hop Label (EHHL) is a community-funded record label dedicated to the preservation and growth of hip-hop culture and music. Through monthly conversations in the flesh, daily conversations on social media, and the creation of music that honors hip-hop, EHHL strives to advance thoughtful Hip-hop music while building up a sense of community around it.
EHHL’s newest release is a compilation album entitled Respect Vol 1. It will be released on August 27th! Produced by in house producers MC Till & Joe November (Till November) this compilation is all about paying Respect. Thirteen emcees contribute to songs dedicated to showing love to legends like the Wu-Tang Clan, Rakim, Masta Ace, Jay Dilla and more. Featured emcees on the album are Prince Po (of Organized Konfusion), Iomos Marad, Theory Hazit, Cas Metah, Vibe-One and more. Rounding out the album is DJ Apryl Reign on the turntables.
A few years ago MC Till began reaching out to some of his Hip-hop friends to see if they would like to pay homage to any particular artists or groups who inspired them. Several of those friends said “Yes” and the next thing you know we are doing a song with Prince Po from Organized Konfusion!
