Created for children ages 2–9, the Cincinnati Pops Lollipops Series inspires young minds and sparks imaginations. This Saturday’s concert, Take Me Out to the Ballgame, celebrates America’s national pastime and honors the Reds 150th-anniversary season. Kids will hear the classic poem “Casey at the Bat” (narrated by Reds Announcer Joe Zerhusen) and baseball-themed sing-alongs, such as “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” (accompanied by Reds Organist John Schutte). They can also meet the Reds Mascots who will be in attendance.
Doors open early at 9:30 AM, so families can experience instrument demonstrations, crafts and more at the pre-concert Family Fun Zone. Concert starts at 10:30 AM. Tickets are available and just $10 for children and $15 for adults. Lap-seat children, ages two and under, are free.
