Synthcinnati: Step into the Subculture of Synth-Lovers

Local synth-pop sweethearts, Moonbeau have announced their upcoming headlining show at The Woodward Theater on April 26th is an annual showcase of our regions most buzzed about electronic bands, young artists, and vintage clothing vendors which they are calling Synthcinnati. This lineup features synth-driven acts; DENNIS from Minneapolis, Summer School from Cleveland, Bliss Nova from Toledo, and Flocks from Cincinnati. In addition to headlining the event, Moonbeau is curating a line of vintage merchandise, inspired by their music and personal style, and will be on sale at the event. Other vendors include; Rad OTR, Ramblin’ Rose Vintage, artwork by AAC student Izzy Gregan, and more to be announced.

If you follow Moonbeau closely, you may have noticed they’ve been touring in the midwest. This has inspired them to bring new friends to Cincinnati. “We’re really excited to introduce Cincinnati to the bands who’ve been kind enough to let us into their cities and their homes. It’s nice to be able to use the support system we have here to develop relationships with similar artists in our region.” - Claire Muenchen, keyboardist and vocalist for Moonbeau.

Grab your friends and a fanny pack because Synthcinnati will be a night filled with bubbly synth-pop bliss. The evening will kick off at 7pm and you can purchase tickets for $12 at the door or $8 adv at MOTR pub and online.
