The Mortals are a garage-rock band based out of Cincinnati, OH. As part of the Garage-Rock wave of the early 1990s, the band carved out their own feedback-soaked, sonic niche located somewhere between Northwest rock and Midwestern Hellride. They released 3 LPs on Estrus Records (the Ritual Dimension of SoundBulletproofLast Time Around). In concert, the Mortals’ incendiary live performances made them sought after stage companions for eminent bands such as the Mono Men, the Fall Outs, the Woggles, the Cowslingers, and Man or Astroman?.

Joining The Mortals are The Tigerlilies.Cincinnati's power pop stalwarts The Tigerlillies formed in 1989 and set out to fuse glam rock, roots rock, and post-punk into an aesthetic they called "More Pop than Jesus." Led by vocalist/guitarist Pat Hennessy, the band also included former members of the Chrome Cranks, the Candy Snatchers, and G.G. Allin & the Murder Junkies before settling on the lineup of Hennessy, guitarist/vocalist William Weber, bassist Brian Driscoll, and drummer/vocalist Steve Hennessy. The group's albums include 1992's debut, Deeper on Atavistic, 1997's Space Age Love Songs for Truckstop, and 2003's return to Atavistic, Ceci N'Est Pas Pop
