Hometown musical hero, Eliot Sloan of Blessid Union of Souls with guitar legend, Brian Lovely, joins local favorites, Green Light Morning, and Mavenne in a can and coat drive benefiting The FreeStore Foodbank at Madison Theater on Saturday, November 17th!
During the holidays, the need for food and warm coats is paramount for the FreeStore Foodbank. Presented by Double Forte Music Company, whose motto is “Doing Well by Doing Good” and Rhythm Brew Productions, bring an exciting evening of epic local music to the Madison Theater stage.
From meteoric rise on the radio throughout the 1990’s, through the subsequent decade of thought-provoking songwriting and amassing an extremely dedicated fan base on tour, Blessid Union of Souls has become amongst the most beloved, meaningful, and musically consistent acts of this generation. Thanks to the seamless merger of contagious pop, rock, and soul from singer Eliot Sloan, coupled with his ability to continuously write socially conscious and spiritually inspiring songs, it’s no surprise to see gold records, chart-cruising singles and a slew of soundtrack appearances.
Eliot will take the stage with Cincinnati guitar legend, Brian Lovely of Faux Frenchmen, Flying Underground, Blessid Union of Souls, and The Brian Lovely Trio. This composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter has earned several gold, platinum, and multi-platinum records. As a solo artist, band leader, and sideman, he has performed at major rock and jazz venues and festivals around the world. several solo albums under his belt, all while launching a studio in Mainstrasse (Covington, KY), Mike’s Music. Eliot and Brian, truly a dynamic duo!

Mavenne is a prolific composer of Electro-Pop and Alternative music. She was a Top 3 Finalist (for Pop) in 2018 for the prestigious International John Lennon Songwriting Contest founded by Yoko Ono! Mavenne exults in making use of every note of her three-octave vocal range. Mavenne has a plethora of awards behind her vocal, songwriting, and keyboard talent, including in late 2018, she was honored to be ranked on ReverbNation's Pop charts at #7 NATIONALLY, and GLOBALLY at #6 most recently. Currently, 2018 has Mavenne working on a forthcoming album and exploring the world of producing.
