Jamband stalwarts moe. take over the Taft Theater this Thursday night. Members Rob Derhak (bass/vocals), Al Schnier (guitar/vocals), Chuck Garvey (guitar/vocals), Vinnie Amico (drums), and Jim Loughlin (percussion) are about to complete their third decade of touring the country showcasing their catchy songs mixed with extended improvisational jamming but have a renewed vigor as Rob Derhak recently returned to the group after a successful battle with a form of throat cancer.

The history of Moe. speaks for itself. They regularly share the stage with members of the Grateful Dead and contemporaries like Umphrey’s McGee. They’ve played in every corner of the country multiple times over. And they continue to expand their repertoire and keep their setlists fresh with originals and unique covers. Whether you’re an official “moe.ron” or haven’t yet had the pleasure, moe. is hitting a new peak and are a surefire way to kick off this Halloween weekend.
