Fleet Foxes are making their way to Cincinnati to play The Taft Theatre on Friday, July 20th! Fleet Foxes create harmony-drenched folk songs far more abundant than the genre’s traditional, stark stylings. Even while their music packs a lot into each track, it never feels overstuffed. - Pitchfork
Fleet Foxes released their long waited third album Crack-Up last year, which the New York Times hailed as "a defiant artistic statement, an album that dares to feel important." The band went on to sell out shows across the country and world, including notable U.S. venues like Red Rocks Amphitheater and Hollywood Bowl. This past Spring, the band has made their rounds at the festivals including Coachella, Shaky Knees, Boston Calling, and FORM Arcosanti. They will also go on to play Pitchfork Festival, Panorama, and Bumbershoot.
This past Winter, Fleet Foxes debuted a stunning performance video of Crack-Up's title track at Reykjavik's Harpa Opera House, featuring the acclaimed Icelandic choir Graduale Nobili and produced by Consequence of Sound. Filmed in one diligently directed shot, this is a masterpiece capture of one transcendental performance. They went on to release a special edition 7" including this recording, exclusive to Record Store Day.
