Noah Smith to Release Long Cut at SGHR

Noah Smith’s idea of overnight success is years of hard work and doing things to his own rhythm. The Brown County native and University of Cincinnati CCM grad has spent the last 2 years crafting and recording his new album, Long Cut.

From the Queen City to Music City and back again, Smith has spent many nights on the road this past year, most trips to and from Nashville. He has changed band line ups, re-worked lyrics and spent many hours in the studio to put out a stellar follow up to his debut CD We’re on Fire and his self-titled EP.

“To be honest we’ve done nothing but worked our A#% off to bring this thing to life. We’ve grinded out 100’s of shows, hours, state to state, early mornings, late nights, and thousands of miles later a record was born,“ beams Smith.

In between all those hours he has shared the stage with some of the industry’s most talented Artist such as Josh Turner, Cassade Pope, Steve Miller Band, David Alan Coe, Aaron Tippin, Reckless Kelly, Crystal Bowersox, Levi lowery and Andrew Combs. This past year he won the coveted Cincinnati Entertainment Award for BEST SINGER/SONGWRITER. Smith has even managed to write a few extras for other artists to record, including a Chevy truck commercial.

For Smith, there is no place like home to celebrate than with a night of music on Saturday, March 3rd at The Southgate House Revival in Newport, KY. Smith will debut his new studio record Long Cut at his favorite music stomping ground.

Smith explains, “The title speaks for itself. We’ve been grinding this thing out and 2018 doesn’t have a chance of slowing us down.”

This is going to be a great night of music, friends, and family. ALSO it is an ALL AGES SHOW!
Special guest Matt Waters and his band will be there to kick the night off.
