Cincinnati Powerhouses Head to Hamilton For a Cause

Tonight, three Cincinnati powerhouses will join with Miami University Regionals for a night of music and fundraising at Miami Hamilton Downtown. Miami University Hamilton’s PRIDE organization reached out Scanner, Suck the Honey, and Leggy to participate and were met with an enthusiastic response. The event will be free for Miami students and faculty, while non-students will pay a small donation fee of $5.00 in order to raise funds for the Oxford Area PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays). Miami University will not retain any of the profits.

Scanner will deliver their unique blend of lo-fi/punk with introspective lyricism. Suck the Honey will deliver their engaging, emotionally charged rock. Leggy will deliver in their lush punk – a style Leggy has made their own in the Cincinnati area.

Miami Hamilton’s PRIDE is thrilled to bring these talented acts to the Hamilton area for a good cause. From the up-and-coming Scanner, to the well-received Suck the Honey, to the well-established and reputable Leggy. Moreover than simply bringing the music to Hamilton, PRIDE is excited to combine music with its’ mission of bringing awareness and help to the LGBTQ* community.

Please join Miami Regionals and the bands tonight at 7:00 PM, located on 221 High St. Hamilton, OH, 45011. This will be an alcohol-free event per Miami regulations.
