Birds of Chicago are headed to Ludlow Garage on Saturday, December 2nd! Birds of Chicago is led by the husband-wife team of JT Nero and Allison Russell, both known for their searing vocals. Perfecting their live show with approximately 200 performances a year, the band often draws comparisons to a tent revival - passionate rock and roll dusted with gospel fervor.
American Flowers, an EP recorded in the band's new hometown of Nashville, will be released on November 17, with proceeds benefitting Teen Living Programs, a non-profit on Chicago's Southside providing opportunities for at-risk homeless youth. 2018 will see the release of "Love in Wartime," produced with Luther Dickinson of North Mississippi All-stars fame. BOC's current full-length release, "Real Midnight," was recorded with Grammy Award winning producer Joe Henry.
Make it a point to see this show, you will kick yourself if you miss it.
