After 2 years, several roadblocks, a few minor inconveniences, and multitudes of memorable moments, Kaitlyn Peace & the Electric Generals, EP My Little Life will be released and celebrated on November 11th at Madison Live. Kaitlyn’s heart yearns to tell a story through music. Originally from Louisville, Kaitlyn found her way to Northern Kentucky University where she studied Musical Theater. Involved in music from a young age, she taught herself to play piano and started crafting original music. Kaitlyn started out in the Cincinnati music arena hitting open mic nights and eventually connecting with her current band mates who coincidentally all work at General Electric…hence “Kaitlyn Peace & the Electric Generals” were born.
Cincinnati favorites, Green Light Morning will launch their new single “Island” with a lyric video. Sometimes when two roads of a melodic life journey come together to become one, musical magic happens. Such is the case with Cincinnati based lyricists and musicians, Aaron Patrick and Aaron Bright. Every now and then a song just writes itself. This is the case with Green Light Morning’s new single “Island” which the Aaron’s completed in a single evening and earned them a Top 15 spot in a new reality TV show called “The Song”. “Sometimes the song just speaks to you and before you know it you’re done and feel like, dang that was easy, but that song feels great” says Aaron Bright. “Island” is about the one thing you love so much it would hurt if was not in your life. Listening to Green Light Morning’s latest single, starting with a energetic surf guitar lick, coupled with harmonies that would be reminiscent of the beach boys, the song transports you to your own happy “Island.”
The bands are asking for coats as donations for Cincinnati based non-profit Greater Project benefitting local children and the Veterans Affairs Agency of Cincinnati, focused on homeless veterans to pay homage to Veterans day.
Doors open at 7:00pm with music at 8:00pm.
