Double Release from Soul Step Records

Soul Step Records is at it again! Two vinyl releases will be released to the public on Friday, October 13th.

The first of which is from an amazing local band, Sylmar. Soul Step introduced Cincinnati to Sylmar with their second Cincinnati Brewers Series 7” vinyl and they have only continued to grow their sound and audiences alike. Since their Cincinnati Brewers Series debut, Sylmar has played shows at The Woodward Theatre and booked a spot at Ubahn Fest.

On Friday the 13th, Soul Step Records and Sylmar are excited to release their debut LP, Transaturated Tunes. This collection of songs showcase how much the band has grown their unique indie rock sound. The limited to 100 special color vinyl is a random color vinyl. Each vinyl is truly unique with no two being the same. Black vinyl will also be available for sale at that time.

The second release you may be aware of due to previous Soul Step Records releases Soft Times or Beacon. You may also know Matt Duncan for the attention his funky cover of The Foo Fighters’ “Everlong” has been recently attaining.

Matt Duncan is back with a 4-song EP entitled Slowest Walkers In Manhattan. Matt Duncan wrote, recorded, and produced this EP while on a National Tour of the Tony Award winning Broadway Show, “Hedwig & The Angry Inch.”  Four songs are jam packed on a 7” vinyl with a limited color edition of 100 CHERRY BOMB RED vinyl. Black vinyl will be available as well.

Both vinyl will be available directly from Soul Step Records, on Friday, October the 13th.
