2017 Bluegrass for Babies Benefit Concert

On Saturday, September 23 the Bluegrass for Babies benefit concert will celebrate its 9th year. The annual family-friendly bluegrass concert, presented by the Healthy Roots Foundation, will return to Seasongood Pavilion in Eden Park from 3-9pm.

Bluegrass for Babies will feature performances by three of the region’s top bluegrass bands Jake Speed and the Freddies, The Redemptioners, and the Comet Bluegrass All-Stars, and a special children’s performance from Jennifer Ellis Music.

The fundraising event will feature food from Dewey’s Pizza and craft beer from MadTree Brewing. Bluegrass for Babies tickets and donations help support infant and children’s health through Cincinnati Children’s Center for the Prevention of Preterm Birth. Adult tickets are $12 for early bird, $15 in advance and $20 at the gate; Children 12 and under are free.

The benefit concert is an official Giving Hope fundraising event for Cincinnati Children’s, which has raised over $200,000 to support innovative children’s health research and educational programs since the first concert in 2009.
