Little Junior Stop at MOTR

Little Junior is a quartet hailing from Toronto. They are heading out on their first ever U.S. tour supporting July Talk and will be stopping at MOTR Pub on Friday, February 10th!

Little Junior formed while the members were all still in high school, becoming regulars in the Toronto DIY music scene the past two years, supporting acts Fidlar, Titus Andronicus, Diarrhea Planet when they’ve rolled through town, and earning comparisons to The Orwells, PWR BTM, Pansy Division (singer/guitarist/lyricist Rane is queer) with a number of self-released singles.  The band will release the first single from their upcoming debut album, “Crybaby.”

The album was produced by John Agnello (Sonic Youth/Dinosaur Jr. / Kurt Vile), and is expected late spring / early summer.  Little Junior want to destroy pop-punk from the inside. In a genre often rampant with homophobia and sexism, Little Junior writes bratty songs about depression, alienation and apathy from a perspective that promotes inclusivity for more than just straight white dudes.
